Primary Teacher - Tresco & Bryher Base (MPS/UPS)

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic Primary Teacher for our Key Stage 2 children on Tresco & Bryher Base.  The Base has a Reception/KS1 class and a KS2 class with currently 10 pupils that boat from Bryher daily and 8 pupils that come from Tresco. We are looking for someone who will relish this opportunity to join a creative team with high expectations for all children to provide quality first teaching, develop an exciting and engaging curriculum and work in partnership with the Base Leader, the primary team across the islands and our partner primary schools on the mainland. The successful candidate will be working with a small class of adventurous and committed learners to build on our developing culture of high attainment and progress at KS2.

The successful candidate would be supported in finding suitable accommodation on Tresco. They (and any partner or family) need to be suited to the challenges of living in a remote, close island community, as well as the opportunities offered by the outdoor environment.
