We have decided not to change the primary school uniform in September this year. This is because we would like to spend more time exploring some different options before making a final decision. When we have some firm options we will be consulting with parents more widely.
Once a decision has been made regarding the new logo there will be the option of buying sweatshirts with the new logo, but there is no expectation for parents to buy new sweaters when the logo is launched.
The following optional items may also be worn:
As indicated at the end of last term, we expect to launch the new uniform in November.
Up until half term we will be asking students to wear their old uniforms as smartly as is reasonably possible. This means white shirts, black trousers (not jeans or canvas trousers) or a black skirt (not a mini or pencil skirt), and leather or leather look black shoes.
When we introduce the new uniform we will include an optional black jumper with a V neck that can be worn under the blazer but not instead. This should help with windy quays although we would never stop students from wearing coats over the top of their blazers.
School PE kit has not yet changed and should be worn properly. Students are keen to adopt a new PE uniform, so we will investigate a new PE kit during this academic year. The following kit is required for PE lessons:
Orders for clothing can now be placed online, via the Tesco uniform ordering service.
