Wednesday 25th - Friday 27th April
The Eden Project is a dramatic global garden housed in tropical biomes that nestle in a crater the size of 30 football pitches.
This two night residential means the children will really get to experience the sights, smells and scale of all three biomes. From the rainforests in the Rainforest Biome, the world's largest greenhouse to South African and Californian orange and lemon trees, olive groves and gnarled vines of the Mediterranean Biome. One of the highlights will be the night-time experience. A special opportunity to explore the Biomes when they’re shut to the public, exploring the domes by moonlight.
Children and staff will overnight at the Youth Hostel at Eden. The hostel is a unique experience as it is made from shipping containers, in keeping with their ethos of sustainable living.
